I acquired a pair of tubular steel frame swivel lounge chairs likely from the late 40's or early 50's. The distinct angular frames and heavy steel frame construction reflect high quality and precision detailing. Everything from the swivel mechanism to the fine metal finish on thebases (reminiscent of Jacobsen's designs) to the flatmetal bars inserted into the upholstery to stabilize it'sshape tells me they must be by an important designer. I've sent photos to auction houses and dealers from LA to NY and no one has been able to find anything about them.
